Green Spicy Dip Sauce

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 cup chopped carrot (optional)
- 2 tbsp Seres Foods Green Jalapeno Hot Sauce
- 1/2 cup vinegar (apple or grape) or
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation
Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion and garlic until softened. If using carrots, add a little water and include them as well. Continue cooking until the carrots are tender.
Transfer the onion, garlic, and carrots (if used) to a blender and purée until smooth. Add the Seres Foods Green Jalapeno Hot Sauce. If the purée is too thick, add a little water and blend again until a homogeneous texture is achieved.
Return the purée to the saucepan with vinegar and lemon juice, then cook briefly. Add salt. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
